Marketing Business Partner (Account Manager)

Salary Banding: Up to £36,000 per annum plus car allowance

Hours: Permanent / Mon-Fri / Full time / 37.5 hours a week

Location: Field based with occasional working from home

Area to cover but not limited to: London Area including Oxford, to North London, Richmond, Finsbury Park and Maidenhead

Full driving license essential

The role:

Our Key Accounts Marketing Team will be supporting all our community nurseries in achieving their full recruitment and customer satisfaction potential. Ability to manage a large number of accounts, all under one national brand umbrella, yet with distinctive features is a must, as we would like to establish Bright Horizons nurseries as aspirational, highly sought after excellent early years settings. The post holder will also take the lead on a range of operational marketing projects required for certain segments of our portfolio. Segmentation of our business is key to ensuring that appropriate localised tactics are added to complement large scale activities. You will be supporting our settings across the customer journey either advising on large scale activity, or delivering certain directly, such as sales trainings, print and environmental assets. Creation, delivery and evaluation of operational marketing plans will be the paramount responsibility, while delivery of all corresponding activities will be supported by other teams: Marketing and Campaigns, Customer Experience, Content and Communications and Creative.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • To support in the management of local marketing activity for a portfolio of nurseries, in partnership with the Operations Team
  • To help Regional Directors optimise sales activity for a portfolio of nurseries, by delivery of sales coaching & training as required
  • To devise and deliver monthly reports for the Regional (Ops) Directors and regular updates to the wider Marketing team on the performance of each nursery setting
  • To track and monitor local campaigns to prove effectiveness and ROI and provide guidance on localised adaptations
  • To partner closely with the Operations teams to ensure resource is correctly focused on meeting key business targets
  • Provide analysis of local & regional trends for sales pipeline & conversion from enquiry to registration
  • Research local areas, demographics, markets and customer to identify and plan marketing activity for the nursery and region
  • Develop, implement and sustain local marketing plans/activity for each nursery across a range of media, including digital, PR and local opportunities including showcasing of best practice & individual coaching as appropriate
  • Support your portfolio with the promotion of any national open events
  • Briefing creative department in a planned and timely manner to ensure artwork is created, proofed and signed off prior to deadlines
  • Complete regular competitor analysis to understand our price point and proposition and report in a timely manner to the Marketing team
  • Represent the Marketing and Sales department at meetings with the Operations Team and contribute to monthly reports for Senior Management team
  • Provide analytical insights to support decisions with the marketing plan,

Essential Experience:

  • Regional/multi-site sales management experience preferred
  • Experience in service marketing and regional marketing preferred
  • Experience working in a geographically diverse company ideal
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent account and project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Confident and capable of working autonomously and remotely from the wider team
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Experience Desirable:

  • Experience in key account management role, especially in corporate environment

Qualifications:

  • Marketing qualification / degree or CIM Professional Diploma as a minimum
  • The job holder must be experienced in marketing, sales and customer service delivery, particularly across a multi-site business
