At Bright Horizons, we're expanding our network of Bank Safeguarding Investigators to support our Safeguarding Team with investigations ranging from low-level concerns through to complex, high-risk safeguarding matters across our nursery network.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your safeguarding expertise within a child-centred organisation committed to the highest standards of child protection, while enjoying the flexibility of bank working.
What you'll be doing:
✅ Leading safeguarding investigations from initial concern through to conclusion
✅ Assessing and managing risk to children throughout investigations
✅ Collaborating with Operational Leaders, HR, Legal, Regulatory Specialists and external agencies
✅ Producing clear, evidence-based investigation reports and recommendations
✅ Ensuring children's voices remain central to decision-making
✅ Identifying learning opportunities to strengthen safeguarding practice across the organisation
We're looking for:
✔ Proven experience conducting safeguarding investigations or managing complex safeguarding casework
✔ Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, processes and thresholds
✔ Experience working with agencies such as LADO, Children's Services, Police or regulatory bodies
✔ Excellent interviewing, analytical and report-writing skills
✔ The ability to manage highly sensitive information with sound judgement and professionalism
✔ This role would suit an experienced candidate who is looking for flexible work.
