We’re Hiring: Employee Relations (ER) Advisor – 12-month FTC
UK-based | Full-time | Some travel required

Bright Horizons is looking for an experienced ER Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll partner with managers and HR colleagues to provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance. This role requires an enhanced DBS.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and policy matters
- Coaching managers to confidently handle ER issues
- Supporting organisational change such as restructures and redundancies
- Using HR data to spot trends, mitigate risk, and improve outcomes
- Managing a varied ER caseload and ensuring timely case resolution
- Working closely with HRBPs, Legal, and operational leaders
What we’re looking for:
- Strong, hands-on ER experience with high-volume, complex cases
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience supporting managers across multiple sites
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and solve problems
- Evidence of CPD (For example - CIPD)
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel when needed
Desirable:
- Experience in the nursery/education sector
- Business coaching qualification
