Nursery – Bright Horizons Palmers Green Day Nursery

Salary – Starting from 28,745.60 / Β£29,868.80 per annum (Full-time equivalent – Pro-rata\’d) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Palmers Green nursery. This setting is situated in North London, close to Palmers Green railway station, and offers access to Central London within 30 minutes. There is also nearby access to bus routes 121, 616 and W6. This role is for the Baby Room and is working 36 hours (Mon-Thurs)

The nursery offers a setting in a beautiful converted house, our team of nurturing and experienced staff are dedicated to providing the best care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification

  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
