Remote Working | Nationwide Travel as Required

Are you an experienced safeguarding professional looking for flexible opportunities where you can make a real impact on children's lives? At Bright Horizons, we're expanding our network of Bank Safeguarding Investigators to support our Safeguarding Team with investigations ranging from low-level concerns through to complex, high-risk safeguarding matters across our nursery network. This is a unique opportunity to apply your safeguarding expertise within a child-centred organisation committed to the highest standards of child protection, while enjoying the flexibility of bank working.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading safeguarding investigations from initial concern through to conclusion
  • Assessing and managing risk to children throughout investigations
  • Collaborating with Operational Leaders, HR, Legal, Regulatory Specialists and external agencies
  • Producing clear, evidence-based investigation reports and recommendations
  • Ensuring children's voices remain central to decision-making
  • Identifying learning opportunities to strengthen safeguarding practice across the organisation

We're looking for:

  • Proven experience conducting safeguarding investigations or managing complex safeguarding casework
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, processes and thresholds
  • Experience working with agencies such as LADO, Children's Services, Police or regulatory bodies
  • Excellent interviewing, analytical and report-writing skills
  • The ability to manage highly sensitive information with sound judgement and professionalism
