Job Title: Regional Quality Specialist - Early Years (Early Childhood Specialist) Type: Full Time / 37.50 Hours per week / Field based Salary: From £47k per annum plus £4k car allowance Location: Candidates to be within an hour’s drive from the South West London area *Travel is required to our nurseries within the South West London area (Fulham, Wandsworth, Chelsea, Clapham, Putney, Raynes Park, Wimbledon) plus travel to head office as and when required* Car and Driving Licence is essential for this role Closing Date for this role is 30th October 2026 - all candidates need to attach a full and relevant cv to be considered.

Purpose of the Role

Support nursery teams to deliver outstanding early years education and care across the region. Provide hands‑on coaching, mentoring, and training to drive best practice and continuous improvement. Work closely with Nursery Managers and operational teams to maintain high-quality learning environments and strong regulatory outcomes. Lead the implementation of the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, Quality Improvement Framework, SEND/ASN, and Nurture approaches to ensure every child has the best start in life.

Core Responsibilities

  • Regional Quality Leadership: Act as the pedagogical lead across nurseries in South West London, providing hands‑on coaching and mentoring to Nursery Managers and teams to drive Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Champion the Bright Horizons UK Nurture Approach, SEND/ASN excellence, and Thrive methodologies, ensuring consistent, high-quality learning environments across all settings.
  • Compliance & Inspection Readiness: Partner with Operations and the Pedagogical Research & Development (PR&D) team to ensure strict regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and continuous inspection readiness.
  • Impact & Data Analysis: Utilize quality monitoring tools and IT systems to evaluate nursery performance, producing concise reports that track the impact of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver innovative training sessions, supporting the succession planning of Nursery Managers and fostering a culture of continuous professional development.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Background: Significant experience (3+ years) in a quality based Early Years role.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to drive quality improvement and secure Good or Outstanding regulatory inspection outcomes.
  • Knowledge: Expert understanding of UK Early Years legislative frameworks, safeguarding, child protection, and modern pedagogical best practices.
  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education (Degree or Post-Graduate QTS/EYTS highly desirable).
  • Logistics: Full, clean driving licence and the ability to travel regularly across our settings in the South West London area.
