About the Role

Nursery – Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery & Pre-School.

Hourly rate – £12.75.

Location – Sudbury.

We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Bright Horizons Great Cornard, a purpose-built nursery rated “Good” by Ofsted, with on-site parking and spacious, natural‑lighted interiors and a large outdoor area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5, encouraging curious minds through interactive play, reading and activities.
  • Support colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children (ideal but not essential) – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
