Salary – Starting from £28,184 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Crouch End Fields Day Nursery. The Nursery is situated on the grounds of Hornsey Cricket Club, close to Crouch End station and Highgate tube. This role is Mon-Fri, working 7:15am-9:30am. The 88 place nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good' and offers a full refurbishment, two gardens and an off road car park. They hold exhibitions, concerts and shows throughout the year, alongside having Ballet, Spanish, Street Dance and Zumba lessons weekly!

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
