Salary – £28,274 – £35,214 pro rata (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Maythorne Cottages Nursery, situated in Hither Green, London. This is a lunch cover position working Monday-Friday, 11:00-15:00.
Maythorne Cottages is a beautiful nursery located in the heart of Hither Green, we are steps away from Hither green station and have great links to London Bridge, Lewisham and Kent areas.
Our nursery takes children aged 3 months – 3 years and we work in strong partnership with Beacon road nursery which is our pre-school unit. We thrive to provide quality childcare and education consistently with all age groups. The nursery consists of 4 rooms, with 2 great outdoors spaces.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
What we’re looking for
- Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
- Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
