Salary – Starting from £33,467.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Salcombe Nursery, situated in Southgate, North London. This role is for the Preschool Room. Our nursery is Ofsted rated “Good”, offers 4 age specific rooms, and an adventure garden which includes a baby garden, a tipi, a hobbit house, a wooden climbing frame, and a wobbly cycle track. There are also Spanish, Drama and Sports extra-curricular activities.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/careers
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
