We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Putney Day Nursery and Preschool. Our nursery is situated in Putney, with great transport links β€” just a 5 minute walk from several stations and within close proximity of Roehampton, Barnes, Wandsworth and Wimbledon! Our 62-place nursery is proudly Ofsted rated β€˜Good’. The nursery features beautifully designed, bright and engaging rooms and our nursery also offers a fabulous adventure garden for our children to explore and enhance their learning!

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
