Nursery – Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery

Salary – Starting from £27,310.40 - £28,392 per annum full time equivalent (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours – Part time; we can consider 3 or 4 days per week

Location – Harwell, 0X11

We’re looking for a part time Early Years Practitioner to join our Little Stars Nursery. The beautiful 63 place nursery is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is based in Didcot with onsite parking and good transport links. The nursery offers a wide range of extracurricular activities such as Forest School, and features well-resourced rooms and a spacious garden for lots of outdoor teaching and learning.

The Roles

  • As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
  • You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers
