We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a key leadership role within a person-centred service that promotes Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), independence, and quality of life for the people supported.
You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service, high standards of care, and full compliance with CQC regulations. You will also provide leadership to the care team and step into full management responsibilities in their absence.
Key responsibilities:- Support the Home Manager with daily operations of the service
- Lead, supervise, and develop care staff
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and daily records
- Manage medication in line with policies and procedures
- Act as safeguarding lead when required
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
- Maintain strong communication with families and professionals
- Promote a positive, safe, and supportive environment
