Support Worker β Temporary Ongoing

Brighthire Recruitment is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our temporary team across Essex.
We have ongoing work supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role
You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible, providing person-centred support based on their individual needs.
Your role may include:
Supporting people with daily routines and activities
Promoting independence and supporting day-to-day tasks
Personal care and manual handling where required
Supporting people who may display challenging behaviour
Following care plans and keeping records up to date
Working as part of a team to provide consistent support
Building positive and respectful relationships
What We're Looking For
At least 6 months' UK care experience
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism
Experience or confidence supporting challenging behaviour
A calm, reliable and caring approach
Good communication skills
Must be 18+
Must have the right to work in the UK
Skilled Worker visa holders welcome β up to 20 hours per week. Visa switching is not available
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred, but we can support you to obtain a new DBS if needed
Training & DBS Support
If you do not have a current DBS on the Update Service, we can support you with obtaining a new DBS.
Training refreshers and updates can also be supported where needed.
