A well-established manufacturing business based in Witham is looking to recruit a reliable and detail-focused Glass Inspector to join their production team. This is a hands-on role responsible for checking all incoming glass products, identifying defects or flaws, and reporting any quality issues quickly and accurately to ensure high manufacturing standards are maintained. Previous experience within the glass industry or a manufacturing/quality inspection environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming glass products for faults, damage and imperfections
  • Report quality concerns promptly and accurately
  • Maintain high standards of attention to detail
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Includes scheduled breaks throughout the day

Benefits:

  • Temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Starting salary of £12.71 per hour
  • Pay increases upon permanent employment and depending on experience
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing annually up to 25 days
  • Birthday day off after one year of service
  • Opportunity to join an Employee Owned Trust after one year
