Support Worker – Temporary OngoingLocation: Braintree£12.71 per hourBrighthire Recruitment is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our temporary team across Essex.
We have ongoing work supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Flexible Hours AvailableWhether you are looking for a few shifts alongside another job or studies, or regular full-time hours, we can offer: Part-time and full-time hoursDay and night shiftsFlexible working around your availabilityOngoing temporary workAbout the RoleYou will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible, providing person-centred support based on their individual needs.
Your role may include: Supporting people with daily routines and activitiesPromoting independence and supporting day-to-day tasksPersonal care and manual handling where requiredSupporting people who may display challenging behaviourFollowing care plans and keeping records up to dateWorking as part of a team to provide consistent supportBuilding positive and respectful relationshipsWhat We're Looking ForAt least 6 months' UK care experienceExperience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autismExperience or confidence supporting challenging behaviourA calm, reliable and caring approachGood communication skillsMust be 18+Must have the right to work in the UKSkilled Worker visa holders welcome – up to 20 hours per week. Visa switching is not availableEnhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred, but we can support you to obtain a new DBS if neededTraining & DBS SupportIf you do not have a current DBS on the Update Service, we can support you with obtaining a new DBS.Training refreshers and updates can also be supported where needed.
