East Grinstead (Hybrid Working) £28,000 – £30,000 + Career Progression + Funded Qualifications

We’re working with a growing and highly regarded business looking to expand their Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate to step into a client-facing role with clear progression, ongoing training, and a supportive environment.

The Role

You’ll work closely with clients who have requested Will-writing services, providing guidance and support across:

  • Wills (drafting, updates, estate planning)
  • Trusts and inheritance planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Probate and wider private client matters

You’ll build strong client relationships, explain legal concepts in a clear and approachable way, and help individuals make informed decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored advice on Wills, Trusts and LPAs
  • Draft and review legal documents with support from the wider team
  • Maintain accurate client records and manage your own caseload
  • Follow up with clients to ensure a smooth and supportive experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams and attend client meetings/roadshows
  • Support business growth through excellent service and relationship building

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Law degree
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and managing admin tasks
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Exposure to Wills, Trusts, Probate or Estate Planning
  • Experience in financial services (e.g. mortgages, insurance)
  • Working towards or willing to undertake STEP qualification (fully funded by the company)
