Tutor wanted for Biology teaching job

Urgently seeking an A level biology tutor with SEN / ASC experience and good availability. Bright Heart is an award-winning London-based tuition agency. Bright Heart Education's tuition agency seeks an experienced tutor with excellent written and spoken English who can tutor biology - experience working with students with ASC strongly desired. Tutors must be based in or able to provide tuition in Banstead.

Successful candidates will be provided with further information and guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and relevant training for working with SEN students. Key qualities we look for in our tutors include:

• Passion for teaching their subjects of expertise

You will be working as a self-employed, part-time tutor, so you can choose which clients/students you wish to provide tuition to. Based on client demand, we are ideally looking for tutors who are looking to tutor at least 12 hours per week. Bright Heart provides its tutors with opportunities for professional development, including the potential for an employment contract if of interest.

• A £5 per journey travel contribution (in addition to the advertised pay rate)

• A 10% incentive for tutors who tutor for 80 hours or more within a 6-month period

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children's barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments. Candidates who have lived/worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.

At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK is required, along with excellent spoken and written English, a university qualification or studying towards one and A-levels, and a passion for teaching and their tuition subject(s). SEN tuition/teaching experience and a passion for working with students with SEN is also necessary.
