Bright Heart Education are seeking a communication-focused LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to support students, with excellent written and spoken English. The role covers tutoring in the Elham area and experience working with students with SEN is strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide communication-focused LSA support to students with SEN
- Follow guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and complete relevant training for working with SEN students
- Collaborate with tutors and education consultants to support learning and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing tutoring assignments
- Two relevant professional references and a parent reference
- If applicable, provide overseas checks (police certificate) for any time spent abroad in the last 5 years
- At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong subject knowledge in the tuition subject(s) and a university qualification or current study towards one and A-levels
- Passion for teaching and working with students with SEN
