GCSE English Tutor

Overview

Urgently seeking an experienced GCSE English tutor with excellent written and spoken English, available to tutor in the Streatham area. Experience working with students with SEN is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will receive further information and guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and relevant training for working with SEN students.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (including children\’s barred list check)
• At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong subject knowledge in GCSE English
• University qualification or studying towards one, and A‑levels
• Passion for teaching and for working with students with SEN
• Provide two relevant professional references and a parent reference. Overseas experience within the last five years requires additional checks, including a police certificate.
