Overview
Urgently seeking an experienced GCSE Maths and Science Tutor with excellent written and spoken English to tutor in the Amersham area.
Experience working with students with SEN is strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality GCSE Maths and Science tutoring in accordance with the Bright Heart Approach.
- Attend training and follow guidelines for working with SEN students.
- Work with a diverse client base, including parents, councils and schools, with day-time and after-school tutoring options.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children's barred list).
- Two professional references and a parent reference.
- Overseas checks if you have lived or worked outside the UK in the last 5 years (police certificate may be required).
- At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK.
- Excellent spoken and written English; strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science.
- University qualification or currently studying towards one; A-levels.
- A passion for teaching and working with students with SEN.
