Urgently seeking an experienced A‑Level Physics Tutor with excellent written and spoken English who is available to tutor in the Byfleet area. Experience working with students with SEN is strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in‑person and online tutoring sessions to A‑Level Physics students.
  • Apply the Bright Heart Approach and receive training for working with SEN students.
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that build confidence, motivation and academic success.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments.
  • Candidates must also provide two relevant professional references and a parent reference.
  • At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
  • University qualification or studying towards one, and A‑levels.
  • Passion for teaching and for working with students.
  • SEN tuition/teaching experience and a passion for working with students with SEN.
