At Bright Futures, we make a real difference to the lives of children and adults with autism and learning disabilities. Through our dedicated team, we deliver outstanding care and education across the North West.

No matter your role, everything we do is focused around our unwavering commitment to the people we support. Our aim is that every individual we support thrives and socially develops as active members of their local community.

We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join an experienced and supportive team for our new 4 bed adult home that is opening in Partington, West of Manchester. Here we will support 4 adults with autism and learning disabilities. You\’ll be making a difference to their lives, celebrating their achievements, and providing unwavering support; helping them to thrive.

As a new home, you will also be directly involved in helping our new adults settle and making sure they feel welcomed and comfortable in their new surroundings.

Benefits

Hourly rate of £12.60. You will also receive an extra £60 for 1 sleep in per week. The hourly rate increases to £13.15 when you are qualified

Responsibilities

Your focus will be supporting people with autism and learning disabilities. This includes:

Engaging and empowering people\’s independence

Assisting people through all routines and activities

Supporting people with varied activities in their local communities

Supporting people to access education where required

Preparing and cooking meals

All general housekeeping duties

Supporting people to achieve their person-centred outcomes

To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience in the care sector but we provide full training so this isn\’t essential

Have a passion for providing great care

Be able to demonstrate resilience

Be approachable, friendly, proactive and flexible

Ideally have a full driving license
