Catering Assistant in Salford

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and well organised Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at Quayside School.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in our school community by helping to provide nutritious, appetising meals and a positive dining experience for our pupils and staff.
As Catering Assistant, you will support the planning, preparation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and customer service are maintained at all times. You will also help to encourage pupils to develop positive eating habits.
We are looking for someone who:
Is enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking
Has a caring and positive approach when working with children and young people
Can work effectively as part of a team
Has good organisation and communication skills.
Understands the importance of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
Is able to remain calm and flexible in a busy school environment.
Holds a Food Hygiene qualification, or is willing to undertake relevant training.

Please note: this role is part-time, term-time only.
