Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and ready to kick-start (or grow) your career in the sportswear industry? We are a fast-paced sportswear manufacturer, and we are looking for a Sample Coordinator to take ownership of our approval process across apparel ranges — from initial concept through to production-ready samples. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with relevant internships, hands-on factory exposure, and sample experience — as well as candidates with early-career experience in apparel production or approvals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be the critical link between Design, Sales, factories, licensors, and retailers — ensuring every garment meets brand, design, and quality standards before going into production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit concept approvals, uploading materials to licensor portals and internal systems.
- Track approvals end-to-end, ensuring timely sign-off across multiple stakeholders.
- Receive, review, and manage pre-production samples within agreed timelines.
- Provide clear, detailed feedback to factories and retail buyers on approvals or required improvements.
- Coordinate sample submissions for licensor review and proactively follow up for feedback.
- Maintain accurate tracking across internal systems and retailer-specific platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritising key deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Design to keep approvals moving smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- We’re seeking someone proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience working with samples and factories (internship experience welcomed).
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly with internal and external teams.
- Confidence working across multiple approval systems.
Desirable:
- Experience with Brandcomply, MediaBox, Ziflow, Box, (or similar project/approval tools).
- Garment tech or quality assurance knowledge.
