About the Role
We are seeking a kind, reliable, and experienced live-in carer to support an elderly male client who has had a hip replacement and is not weight bearing and needs assistance with moving and personal care. He lives with his wife, and part of the role would be cooking and cleaning, doctors appointments and local coffee shop visits. You would have the whole floor access within their house for your living accommodation. This is a long-term position for someone who is compassionate, patient, and confident in providing high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing daily personal care in a respectful and supportive manner
- Assisted transfer with a care assistant on the am and pm call
- Support with mobility and transfers
- Supporting daily living activities while encouraging independence
