Senior Team Leader (06:00 - 14:00) Hull, Humberside
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00
Hourly rate: £14.72 per hour

About the role
We are currently recruiting a Senior Team Leader for our 06:00-14:00 shift at our Hull Site to lead and develop an Operations Team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient order fulfilment, with a focus on health and safety, product quality, cost control, and team engagement.

- Ideally a background in food manufacturing
- The ability to coach, lead as well as manage
- Open, honest, and respectful relationships with all colleagues
- Ability to work as part of a wider Manufacturing Team, including NPD and support functions
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility – to meet the demands of the role
The role of Senior Team Leader (06:00 - 14:00)
- Ensure the team and its people conform to SHE legislation, policies, and standards
- Take a pro-active approach to the reduction of accidents, risks, and hazards on the plant to create a safe working environment
- Ensure all product released meets Food Safety and Quality standards/legislation
- Ensure the team are compliant in traceability, document control and completion
- Ensure the team always adheres to company food hygiene procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Effectively manage controllable costs of labour, raw materials and waste and ensure stock accuracy
- Deliver the production schedule on time and in full
- Drive the performance of the line across the areas of OEE, waste, weights and operational downtime
- Lead, motivate, train and develop the team to deliver business requirements
- Ensure the team consistently adheres to all policies and procedures
- Support the shift manager in developing a succession plan for the team
- Create a Continuous Improvement culture
