We are currently recruiting a Site Engineering Project Manager who will be responsible for identifying, leading and supporting site projects.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience of working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of equipment and systems of a similar operation.
- Excellent teamwork and motivational skills with leadership qualities.
- Ability to prioritise work to suit business needs.
- Ability to support the business outside working hours, if required, by answering emails, phone calls, and responding to calls to site if urgent.
- Experience in interpreting data to provide status reports on team activities against plan.
Responsibilities
- Support the Maintenance Department Teams and people in conforming to SHE legislation, policies, and standards.
- Ensure all external contractors abide to SHE legislation, policies, and standards.
- Ensure all projects are run under CDM regulations.
- Take a pro-active approach to the reduction of accidents, risks, and hazards in the factory to create a safe working environment.
- Deliver site projects assisting the Group Project Manager with ongoing and future Capex projects.
- Provide cross functional support to other areas: e.g. Safety, Quality, Food Safety, Environment, and associated projects.
- Engage with projects at an early stage to ensure reliability and maintainability is considered in the design phase and is supported with full spares availability.
- Effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders to foster an inclusive culture to support the structure and best practices of the BBF maintenance strategy.
- Support systems and processes for preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime to deliver improved asset availability and performance.
- Support the maintenance teams to reach their full potential enabling them to use their knowledge and skills to drive performance.
- Develop self to ensure the necessary knowledge and skills to match current and future requirements.
- Proactively ensure that all projects and works are conducted in full compliance with SHE policies, FS, permits and procedures.
- Deliver against CAPEX project budgets.
