We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Working 42.5 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of children, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their learning through play.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Support children in developing social skills and emotional resilience.
- Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging good manners among children.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children and parents..
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
