Bright A Blind is looking for a proactive Sales Relationship Manager to develop existing client accounts through servicing, upgrades, and additional project opportunities. Working alongside our indoor account handlers, you will act as the face of the business on site—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping clients get the best from their environments and assets. This is a relationship-led role with clear commercial responsibility.

The Role

You will work from our database of existing trading clients and recent projects, maintaining regular contact with customers and developing opportunities across their buildings and portfolios.

Your Focus Will Be To

  • Strengthen existing relationships
  • Protect and retain accounts
  • Identify servicing and upgrade opportunities
  • Generate additional project work
  • Create and manage your own pipeline and appointments

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contacting existing clients by phone and arranging site appointments.
  • Working from a database of active clients and recent projects.
  • Visiting clients regularly to maintain relationships and understand their environment and operational challenges.
  • Identifying Opportunities For
    • Service & maintenance contracts
    • Product upgrades and improvements
    • Additional works across sites and portfolios
  • Following up and converting opportunities generated internally.
  • Proactively generating your own opportunities and appointments.
  • Building relationships with Facilities Managers and key decision-makers.
  • Feeding back insight on client needs, future projects, and market activity.

What You’ll Be Selling

  • Service & Maintenance Contracts (recurring revenue)
  • Internal & External Blinds (manual & motorised)
  • Upgrade solutions (film, curtains, specialist systems)
  • New project work within existing accounts

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients continue to buy from Bright A Blind
  • Opportunities are identified early and converted into work
  • Strong relationships are maintained across accounts
  • Additional servicing, upgrades, and project work are consistently generated
  • Clients view you as a trusted and reliable point of contact

Targets

  • Build a consistent pipeline from existing and self-generated opportunities
  • 12 meetings per week (within 6 months)
  • 50 meetings per month
  • Strong conversion into repeat and contract revenue

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales or commercially focused account management
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confident contacting clients and arranging meetings
  • Good listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and present practical solutions
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and commercially aware
  • Experience within FM, commercial interiors, or shading systems would be essential
