About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Spares Specialist to join our Customer Service & Support function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team delivering first-class service to customers worldwide, across a range of sectors supporting projects and operations that reflect Briggs’ global footprint and reputation for excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Research and source parts from archive records.
- Process enquiries and sales orders from Briggs Inc. customers.
- Pick, pack, and despatch orders, preparing all required export documentation.
- Liaise with colleagues to align terms for Briggs Inc. clients.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Participate in annual stock-takes.
- Work closely with Accounts to ensure customers remain within agreed credit terms.
- Keep archive and storage areas well organised.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic understanding of engineering and engineering terms.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong negotiation and cost awareness skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred—training provided).
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated personality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, multi-site business.
