The Role

We have an opportunity for someone who is looking to step up, move their career forward and be rewarded with the position of Marine Superintendent. The successful candidate will work to ensure safe operations of the vessels and compliance with all international marine requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the wider team on day-to-day operations of vessels, including scheduling, voyage planning, and tasking.
  • Develop effective working relationships with Central Support and Technical teams to ensure a streamlined approach to operational delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Assure and Voyage systems.
  • Utilisation and maintenance of the internal systems and database.
  • Coordinate with vessels and the procurement department to ensure vessels are adequately equipped for operations.
  • Quickly and accurately gather pre-charter information needed by clients.

The Candidate:

  • Detailed knowledge of the marine environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in people management, development and organisation.
  • Able to be composed, professional and show resilience when under pressure.
  • Confident leadership, self-drive and team player.
  • Minimum OOW Deck – Unlimited.
