The Role We have a position available for an experienced General Manager to head up a well-established division within The Briggs Group on a full-time and permanent basis. Key Responsibilities * Managing successful, long-term contracts to safely operate marine and other petrochemical terminals within the UK * Fostering collaborative working with clients and Briggs’ own management teams to maintain and continuously improve good working relationships and practices * Management of company team managers remotely * Ensuring that training and, team and individual performance and succession planning is delivered effectively throughout the organisation and to the highest of standards. * Ownership of P&L across multiple sites, including delegation and governance of budgets to Briggs Colleagues. Derive, develop, and deliver reporting on business performance. * Proactively seeking out potential new business within and adjacent to the petrochemical sector to grow the business * Candidates must be able to travel across the UK to visit sites What’s in it for you?
