The Role
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Store Person/Document Controller to join Briggs Marine at our site in Burntisland, Fife on a full‑time permanent basis. The successful candidate must have relevant hands‑on experience within a busy store/warehouse environment and be confident in their own ability to maintain a high standard of work ethic.
Principal Responsibilities
- Carry out goods handling and distribution in an efficient, safe, and secure manner.
- Ensure safe and correct storage of all goods in compliance with current legislation.
- Stock management and control.
- Comprehensive record keeping.
- Maintain compliance with Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy, associated site safety regulations and good industry practice.
- Carry out housekeeping duties and ensure that the stores area is maintained in a well‑organised, clean and tidy manner.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent IT skills – Full Microsoft software and others.
- Experience operating small or large plant and equipment such as counterbalance forklift, telehandler, overhead crane, etc.
- Self‑motivated with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Potential requirement for security vetting.
