The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver diving operations within our Subsea Services division across the UK and North West Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of diving projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of in-water activities.
Principal Responsibilities
- Project delivery planning monitoring and acceptance.
- Attending client and site visits as required.
- Ensure full compliance with diving regulations (e.g. Diving at Work Regulations 1997) and company safety protocols.
- Working effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Develop project plans, method statements, and work packs in coordination with Dive Supervisors and Engineers.
- Monitor project progress against programme milestones and adjust plans as necessary.
- Ensure availability of diving equipment and vessel support in accordance with project schedules.
- Lead project close-out, ensuring accurate reporting, lessons learned, and documentation.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational oversight, and technical understanding of commercial diving, while effectively coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders. You will play a key role in planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring that all diving activities meet project objectives and industry standards.
- Relevant degree or equivalent in engineering, marine operations, or project management.
- Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel and Microsoft Project Planner.
