In this role, you will play a key part in delivering safe, professional diving operations across ports, offshore assets, renewable energy installations, marine construction, and defence environments. Working closely with Dive Supervisors and project teams, you will help lead dive teams in the field, ensure high operational standards, and support the development of other divers. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as senior diver during defence-related diving operations
  • Deliver underwater inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks safely and efficiently
  • Support Dive Supervisors with operational planning and execution
  • Maintain strict compliance with HSE regulations, company procedures, and security protocols
  • Mentor and support junior divers
  • Assist with mobilisation, maintenance, and demobilisation of diving systems
  • Conduct pre-dive equipment checks and ensure safe operation of surface supplied systems
  • Provide accurate operational reporting and feedback
  • Maintain high situational awareness within controlled operational environments
Essential Requirements
  • Recognised commercial diving qualification suitable for UK operations (e.g. HSE Surface Supplied)
  • Minimum of 5 years' commercial diving experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or Lead Diver capacity
  • Current HSE Diving Medical
  • Strong safety and professional mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
  • Due to the nature of our defence contracts, applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom and be UK nationals. Candidates must also be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) or higher. Security vetting will be undertaken prior to any offer of employment, and any employment offered will be conditional upon the successful completion of the required clearance processes.
