Briggs and Forrester Living Limited solely focus on mechanical, electrical and public health services installations within large scale residential, student accommodation and hotel projects. We wish to appoint 2No Mechanical Estimators within our highly successful Pre-Contract team at Briggs and Forrester Living reporting to the Mechanical Estimating Manager.
This candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
- Attending mid and post tender meetings
- Post tender control
- Interfacing with both our existing and prospective new clients
- Communication and interfacing with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
The position will involve the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Whilst mechanically biased, the position also demands a wide knowledge of electrical engineering services. Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, specifically including residential, hotel and student accommodation projects. This is a permanent, office-based position with strong career prospects.

- Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with company QA policies
