Role: Sales Developer

Contract: Permanent. Monday – Friday. Hybrid working.

About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of material handling, powdered access, plant and specialist rental equipment offering new and used sales, short and long-term hire, engineering services, training and asset management, with operations across the UK and Ireland.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Developer to join our team, based at one of our three sites in Cannock, Haydock, or Maidenhead.
In this role, you will:
- Generate new business leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, networking, and online research.
- Contact prospective customers to qualify leads and arrange appointments for the Short Term Hire team.
- Support marketing activities by creating social media content, coordinating email campaigns, and promoting the company's products and services.
- Maintain accurate customer records, update the CRM system, and track lead and sales activity.
- Build strong working relationships with STH Controllers, ensuring all sales opportunities are identified, tracked, and converted wherever possible.
- Promote the full STH product and service offering, as well as wider Briggs Equipment solutions, to maximise customer awareness and sales potential.
- Identify and refer opportunities to other areas of the business, contributing to cross-functional growth.
- Conduct customer satisfaction calls following off-hire periods, ensuring a positive customer experience and identifying future business opportunities.
