About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We have a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our successful Finance team in Lisburn.

In this role you will:
- Support the Finance Manager in producing accurate Management Accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving process improvements.
- Lead and develop team members, promoting growth and high performance aligned with company values.
- Assist Group Tax with VAT, tax, customs and other statutory returns, and respond to wider group requests.
- Produce cash flow forecasts and support capital expenditure planning.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and reforecasts for senior review.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records in partnership with operations.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Finalist (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)/Qualified by experience
- Extensive financial accounting experience, including preparation to trial balance and full management accounts level.
- Advanced Excel capability, including experience of pivot tables and lookups.
- Significant understanding of Processes / Accounting Principles.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and required controls.
- High level of diligence, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a team and managing a team.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team.
