We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Cannock. This is a key role, partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Provide financial insight into business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of expenditure challenge.
- Analyse and review P&L, balance sheet, and KPI performance, offering guidance and constructive challenge to drive improved financial and operational outcomes.
- Develop and enhance reporting and analysis tools, supporting greater automation and insight through platforms such as Power BI.
- Partner with stakeholders to support effective decision-making and performance management.
- Provide support to the Business Partnering Manager and deliver additional commercial analysis as required.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Significant experience within a finance or commercial finance environment.
- Strong ability to translate complex financial information into clear, meaningful insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven experience in financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to driving performance and continuous improvement.
