The Opportunity: Finance Business Partner
Contract: Permanent
Location: Cannock
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.
The Impact you will have:
- Provide financial insight into E&W Engineering Services performance, identify trends and challenge costs
- Review and analyse P&L, balance sheet and KPIs to improve financial and operational outcomes
- Act as a link between core finance and business units
- Develop automated reporting and analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI)
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead/support ad-hoc key business projects
- Support E&W Business Partnering Manager and Senior Business Partner
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure financial understanding
- Deliver commercial insight to challenge and improve business performance
- Identify opportunities and risks to enhance financial results
- Provide financial support for strategic projects
- Improve and automate reporting processes
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Drive continuous improvement in pricing, planning, and reporting
- Participate in monthly review meetings
- Provide additional commercial support as needed
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or QBE (minimum 3 years)
- Extensive experience working in finance department(s)
- Be able to discuss financial accounts with non-financial personnel
- Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Modelling
- Experience working with tools assisting business analytics (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL)
- Presentation skills to all levels of organization
