Assistant Accountant Contract: Permanent Location: Lisburn. Hybrid working available. Responsibilities * Assisting in the processing of all financial transactions for the business * Supporting the Finance Manager with daily activities * Completing accounting transactional activities for businesses ensuring correct cost allocation working closely with all Accounts Payable staff * Reviewing the GRNI regularly to identify and solve any issues * Maintaining the weekly cashflow forecast for the business * Completing bank and nominal reconciliations to identify and solve arising issues * Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts including month end journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset register, analysis & KPIs * Assisting Group Finance in the preparation of revenue submissions including VAT, VIES, Intrastat, Customs Duty and other government submissions such as national statistics * Assisting the Finance Manager with completing yearly budgets and ad hoc reporting to Group Finance Qualifications * Accounting Technician (AAT Qualified) * Significant financial accounting experience to trial balance and management accounts level * Practical understanding of Accounts Payable processes and systems * Excellent Excel experience (including ability to pivot/lookup) * Good communication and high-level attention to detail skills Benefits * Competitive base salary * Future development and career opportunities * Contributory pension scheme with employer contributions up to 6% * Profitshare bonus based on business performance * Paycare and eyecare health scheme * High street discounts J-18808-Ljbffr
