The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth within our workshop team, we are now looking for a Workshop Support Operative to join our team to support the team in preparing our forklifts trucks to a retail ready standard for our customers.
In this role you will be:
- Working with the Workshop Engineers on general workshop repairs and maintenance.
- Preparing, sanding, and painting machines ready to go to customer sites.
- Working closely with workshop supervisor to achieve maximum productivity and meet monthly targets.
- Providing outstanding customer satisfaction with finished product.
- Completing work at high standard.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with all departments.
- Ensuring agreed tasks are completed in the set time, and work areas are tidy.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Experience in a body shop environment would be beneficial. (However not essential)
- Background in prepping and body repairs.
- A base knowledge of mechanical engineering.
- Good communication.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
