The Opportunity: Workshop Forklift Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: Neckar Forklifts, Castleford

Salary: £32,000 per year

The Impact you will have:

• PDI New Equipment
• Prepare used equipment for sale
• Prepare used equipment for re rent
• General service repair work
• Thorough Examinations – following training
• Pre-hire and post hire inspections

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Experience of working on either; cars, forklifts, plant equipment, cleaning machines, powered access, HGV\’s or similar. Relevant technical qualification
• Previous experience within either a workshop or field based position
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
• The ability to work independently and under pressure
• The ability to manage and prioritise workload
