About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of material handling, powered access, plant and specialist rental equipment offering new and used sales, short and long-term hire, engineering services, training and asset management. We have a new opportunity for a Workshop Engineer/Mechanic to join our friendly and supportive team in Cumbernauld. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in forklift trucks, car, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, passenger vehicles, or similar machinery.

In the role you will be:

  • Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Servicing and maintaining diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment.
  • Fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
  • Completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered.
  • Providing a professional and friendly customer service experience.
