We're seeking an energetic Forklift Driver Instructor/Trainer to join our Lisburn team. This opportunity has opened following a recent retirement, and we're looking for someone who's ready to bring enthusiasm, expertise and a passion for safe, high-quality training to our growing operation.
The role:
- Developing and delivering forklift, powered access and general plant driver training courses to Briggs staff, apprentices, and customers.
- Developing and communicating training courses to customers working closely with Sales, Truckcare and Service Staff.
- Supervising all training courses to maintain safety of all involved to maximise learning.
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
- Keeping all training courses current with latest government safety standards and policies/procedures.
- Designing, building, and maintaining appropriate training areas.
- Working with Managers to ensure required staff have the correct and current certificates to meet legal obligations.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Accredited instructor ideally within a recognised training body, i.e AITT, RTITB, ITSSAR or IPAF certified.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and confident in the classroom environment.
- Forklift, powered access, and general product knowledge.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic business.
