The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Ensuring all work complies with engineering standards and, as relevant, Briggs/manufacturer specification/tolerances.

Carrying out inspection/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensuring that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing back to the customer. Identifying any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred. Completing all related job and service documentation correctly, with necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles
  • 40 hour working week
  • Overtime is Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
  • 25 days holiday with the ability to buy an extra 3 days (subject to conditions)
  • Vehicle is available for private use if desired (tax to be paid)
