An exciting opportunity for a Powered Access Engineer to join our Bathgate team. Working at customer sites, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of powered access equipment, helping to ensure maximum uptime and exceptional service delivery.
The role:
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of access equipment in the fleet.
- Fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of access equipment.
- Carrying out services, inspection at our site and on customers sites across the region.
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and correctly stocked.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly working area including common areas.
What you will bring:
- Experience of working on powered access equipment, forklifts, plant equipment, HGV's or similar.
- Relevant technical qualification.
- Previous experience within either a workshop or field-based position.
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles.
- The ability to work independently and under pressure.
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload.
