About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of material handling, powered access, plant and specialist rental equipment offering new and used sales, short and long-term hire, engineering services, training and asset management. We have a new opportunity for a Field Plant Engineer to join our friendly and supportive engineering services team. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in forklift trucks, car, vehicle, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, passenger vehicles, or similar machinery.
In the role you will be:
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment.
- Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol and electrically powered small plant, agricultural and ground care equipment.
- Attending breakdowns, fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
- Completing job activity electronically.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and has the correct parts stock.
- Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and developed through high standards of service.

- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles

What you can expect from us:
- A base salary up to £38,153 pa based on a 40-hour working week
- Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
