The Opportunity: Contract Manager
Contract: Permanent
Location: Lancaster / North West England

The Impact you will have:
- Identify and address safety concerns for Briggs and customers, promptly escalating issues to relevant personnel for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER obligations, recommending VOR status for overdue equipment.
- Uphold \”Safety First\” values and adopts the best practices to mitigate risks for Briggs, customers, and third parties.
- Act as the primary contract manager for customers in your area, also covering local sites. β’ Organize, document, and circulate action-oriented review minutes within three working days.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and internal departments for business continuity.
- Analyze NPS scores to identify and address areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Track contract performance and profitability through tools like BE Portal, Power BI, and CPO.
- Identify and recover additional contractual costs, such as damage or excess hours, and propose resolutions.
- Identify and share potential growth opportunities with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with credit control, service teams, and stakeholders to support debt recovery efforts.
- Identify process enhancements to improve business efficiency and ease of collaboration. Drive internal teams to deliver top-tier customer service, striving for satisfaction and excellence.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Demonstrable experience in contract management
- Ability to judge and adapt to change of deadlines or workload to meet the needs of the customer and our business.
- Demonstrable an understanding of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensures Engineering Team adheres to all regulations.
- Customer service skills (both internal and external) and the ability to present.
- Strong IT skills, telephone etiquette
- Well organised, structured and motivated
- Communication skills (interact with all levels within an organisation)
- Demonstrable knowledge of MHE and various contract types
